BARNS

Joe Wey, owner of Old Line Timberframes, was originally drawn to timberframing because of a love for old barns.  OLT demonstrates that affection by saving these wonderful structures whenever practically possible.  When we acquire a barn we strip off the roof covering and siding.  We then label every member of the frame methodically.   Exact scale drawings of the entire frame are made based on the measurements taken at the original site.  The frame is then taken down and trucked to our shop where it is cleaned and stored for re-erection in the future.  These old timberframes make excellent homes, additions, great rooms, kitchens or even barns depending on their style and size.  Please inquire if you are looking for an antique barn or structure or call if you have a barn that you need to have taken down.
